Student Moritz Wicklein at work in the BVT laboratory

FAU is currently working on plans to offer more face-to-face teaching again. Bayerischer Rundfunk reported on this in the Frankenschau in July 2021. Vice-President Bärbel Kopp emphasizes, however, that the minimum distance of 1.50 m must still be observed and must therefore be the basis of all planning. A decision by the Ministry of Science in Munich on the topic of increased presence at Bavarian universities is still pending. Moritz Wicklein is a master’s student at the BVT Institute and a student senator at FAU. In his contribution, he makes it clear that, from the perspective of the students, opening up the courses as much as possible is urgently desired. His central argument is that personal contact with each other and with scientists is extremely important for studying. Everyone involved is probably very excited to see how teaching at FAU will be organized in the coming winter semester from October 18, 2021.
