Bioactives

Biologically active substances – whether of natural or synthetic origin – play an essential role in our world, as they are used, for example, as active pharmaceutical ingredients, food and feed additives or environmentally friendly plant protection products. With the societal challenges of our time, such as the emergence of multi-resistant pathogens, the growing world population and advancing climate change, their global importance continues to increase. For these reasons, we are working intensively on the identification of new bioactive compounds and their tailor-made formulation for various fields of application, such as fish, poultry and plant production.
