FAU Sustainability Prize 2025 for “GreenThread”
We are delighted to announce that Prof. Kathrin Castiglione, Dr. Stefanie Brückner, and Matthias Tobler have been awarded this year’s FAU Sustainability Award in the Research category. The prize was granted in recognition of their research work in the project “GreenThread: Tailored Enzymes and Microbes for Bio-based Textile Recycling.”
The Sustainability Award is granted every fall as part of the FAU Awards. It honors individuals and teams who are committed to a sustainable future through innovative approaches.
